| Event Details | The fifty-second Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition will open for viewing at the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday, April 24, 2022. This juried exhibition is comprised of creative expressions in the visual arts produced by outstanding and talented students from Ohio's high schools. The Exhibition is a cooperative effort between the Governor of Ohio, the Ohio Department of Education, colleges, universities, and corporate sponsors. |

| Reception Details | In lieu of a formal awards ceremony, we are inviting students, parents and teachers to the opening of the exhibition and viewing of the selected artworks, on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower, 30 East Broad Street, in Columbus. During your designated viewing time, you will be able to pick up your certificate of recognition and exhibition catalog. There will also be representatives from our sponsoring colleges and schools of art available to meet with you about their educational opportunities. Awards not collected on opening day will be returned with the artwork at the close of the exhibition. Please be aware that the building administration and security officers at the Rhodes Tower have asked us to limit the number of guests in the building at one time. Therefore, we have set up specific times for viewing, based on the geographic regions where your artwork was entered (or delivered to, for transport to Columbus). We also ask that students limit their number of guests to two individuals. The schedule for viewing times on Sunday April 24th is as follows: 11:30 am to 12:30 pm: Region 1, Region 2, and Region 13 / 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm: Region 12 and Region 14 / 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm: Region 6, Region 7 and Region 8 / 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm: Region 3, Region 4, Region 5, Region 9, Region 10, Region 11 and Region 15. Since it is not possible to know where we will be with masking requirements in late April, those attending the exhibition should be prepared to attend with masks. |
